2. In the book Night Hoops Trent Dawson and Nick Abbott have one goal, winning that state championship. Nick and Trent work on their games for hours and hours in Nick's back yard, where there is a basketball court that Nick's dad built for him. It is not easy though for Nick because his parents are going through a divorce and Trent has to deal with his troublemaker brother and his mom who is a drunk. But whenever they have to deal with their problems they take care of it through basketball.
3. This book relates to health because of alchohal, drugs, and stress. Trent and his brother get into a lot of trouble with the law because of drinking and doing stupid stuff. Trent also has to deal with the stress of his mom coming home with a different guy every night. Nick has to deal with a lot of different family problems. All of the problems started because of Nick's brother Scott. Scott just wants to play his trumpet but his dad will just not put up with it because he has a lot of talent on the basketball court. His dad pushes him way to hard and that is what causes the divorce.
4. This book relates to the real world because all the time we see kids getting into trouble with the law because they drink when they are underage and they do stupid stuff. Also Trent lives in a bad enviorment where there is a lot of yelling, and the house is basically a hole, and some kids really have to go through that. It also relates to the real world because some kids have to go through there parents divorces like Nick and Scott had to. And a lot of times the reasons parents get divorced is because of the kid and one parent may take one side while the other takes the other side.

2. What is Trent's best attribute in basketball? Great rebounder and a great defender.
3. Why do Nicks parents get divorced? Because of Nick's brother Scott, who prefers playing the trumpet over basketball.
4. What does Trent and his brother do to get in trouble the first time? They kill a bunch of birds for no reason.
5. What is the #1 thing that Nicks dad tells him to do? To take the game winning shot when the opportunity is there.
6. What did Zach do to get in trouble the 2nd time? Shot a kid and almost killed him.
7. How did Nick almost die? Trent and Zach almost drowned him.
8. Who saved Nicks life? Luke, the guy on his basketball team.
9. How does Nick thank Luke? He takes him to a Sonics game.
10. How many sophmores made the varsity basketball team? 3, Nick, Trent, and Luke.
11. How does Trent get kicked off the team the first time? Calls his coach fat.
12. Who helps build the court? Mr. Clay, Trents step dad.
13. What does Mr. Clay try to do for Trent? He tries to help him become a better person and tries to actually keep him and Zach under control.
14. What motivated Nick to get better? He couldn't beat his brother in one on one and he always got kicked off the court when there friends came to play.
15. What made Scott finally decide to quit? Nick beat him in one on one.
16. What amazed Nick about Trent? He never got tired, even after practice he was still practicing.
17. How did Trent first get ineligable? He was failing every class.
18. Why did Trent ditch everything that was going well for him for his brother? Because he said his brother had always been there for him.
19. What was something Zach had done for Trent that Trent would never forget? One morning before school his mom was laying on the floor naked with a guy and was passed out and Trent made him breakfast and got him ready for school.

Health project
I'm 26 years old and I live just outside Grundy Center with my girlfriend. I just opened a sports store 2 years ago by the mill 7 miles outside of Grundy Center. My girlfriend is a high school teacher at Grundy and this is her 2nd year of teaching. I graduated in the class of 2011 eight years ago. When i was in high school I played basketball and golf and ran track. We went to state in basketball my junior year and won, we were really good. I went to state in track as a junior, and then as a senior i went to state in golf. Sports and my friends were a big part of my high school life as well as my family. I spent a lot of time with my friends and my family was always there for me. I got money by working in the summer because i mowed lawns and it was pretty good money. Once i graduated i decided to go to college at Kirkwood for 2 years before i went to UNI for another 2. I lived in a 4 bedroom house at kirkwood with some of my friends that i went to high school with. It was a long drive away from home. It was nicer to go to UNI the last couple years because it was so much closer to home and i got to see more familiar people. It wasn't until a year after college that i decided what i wanted to do. I decided that i wanted to open a big sports store that was close to my hometown. I decided thats what i wanted to do because sports have been a huge part of my life and it is what my best interest is. There is also a big sports bar restraunt right by the store that i hired someone to run. In the next ten years i really hope that me and my wife can start a family and that my business will go successful.

Mark Twain- A murder, mystery, and a marraige
John Gray is the father
Takes place in deer lick village in Missouri
It is a small town
Small farming community
Mary Gray is the daughter, Hue Gregory is a rich man that loves Mary
Dave Gray is the uncle that hates Hue because when Dave tried to steal Hue's fathers land, Hue prevented him from doing it.
Sarah/Sally Gray is the mother. Brother is Tom.
Hue proposed to Mary and everyone thought it was great because he was rich.
Dave left all his money to Mary.
John forbid Mary to marry Hue because it would just cause a bunch of problems.
One day John found a stranger named George Wayne in the prarie.
Later he admited that his real name is Count Hubert and his father is a Lord.
The count starts expressing an interest in Mary.
One day Dave is talking to the Count then Hue joins their conversation and Dave and Hue got into a fight and Dave threatens to write a new will leaving Mary nothing which isn't what Hue wants.
Dave is murdered and everyone thinks Hue did it because there was a scrap of his jacket, blood on his pants, and a bloody knife in his bed, and because of all the fighting between the 2 the odds are against Hue.
One of Counts friends get arrested and Count and Mary get married.
In the end Count only wanted Mary for the money, and his real name is Gean Mercier.
